Homeland of Evening Primrose (Oenothera, Onagrace) is South America, from which it has spread to the coast of Canada. In XVII century this plant got to England, where it called the "royal universal medicine". Evening Primrose oil (EPO) contains two essential fatty acids - alpha-linolenic and gamma-linolenic.
